ACD Farm represents more than a farm.
It represents generations of knowledge, dedication and a deep connection with mango cultivation.
Our History
From 1856 to Today
The story of ACD Farm began around 150 years ago, in 1856, when our ancestor Late Ranchhodji Bhanabhai Desai migrated to Magod, Valsad, with the intention of dedicating his life to Alphonso mango farming.
He soon established a reputation as an expert in his field.
Other farmers and landlords began requesting his expertise to cultivate their agricultural lands. At one point, he managed approximately 200 acres of agricultural land across different parts of Valsad District.

KNOWLEDGE PASSED THROUGH GENERATIONS
Ranchhodji believed that everyone involved in farming should understand mangoes deeply.
He trained his workers to recognize the different stages, characteristics, types and qualities of Alphonso mangoes.
This knowledge was carefully protected by his son, Lalbhai Ranchhodji Desai, who became the founder of ACD Farm.
The farming tradition was subsequently carried forward by his son, Chhotubhai Lalbhai Desai, and later by Anilbhai Chhotubhai Desai, who played an important role in developing the farming and mango business.

Our Mango Heritage
The mango, scientifically known as Mangifera indica, is much more than a fruit. It is a timeless part of India’s agricultural heritage, culture and culinary tradition.
Belonging to the Anacardiaceae family, the mango shares its botanical family with cashews and pistachios. Native to the Indian subcontinent and South Asia, mangoes have been cultivated and cherished in this region for thousands of years.
India proudly recognizes the mango as its National Fruit — a reflection of its deep cultural and historical importance.
A Heritage of Thousands of Years
Mango has been celebrated throughout Indian history and literature. Ancient Indian traditions and Vedic literature contain references to the mango, while celebrated poets such as Kalidasa praised its beauty and sweetness.
Over generations, the mango has evolved into countless treasured varieties, each shaped by its soil, climate and cultivation traditions.

Our focus is on two much-loved Indian varieties — Alphonso and Kesar — carefully nurtured in the fertile surroundings of Valsad, Gujarat.

Mango is a fresh and perishable fruit. At ACD Mango Farm, we carefully select, pack and deliver our mangoes with every effort to maintain the quality you expect from us.
As with any natural product, however, occasional variations can occur. A mango may look perfect from the outside, yet naturally develop an internal quality issue.
Nature cannot always be perfectly predictable — but our commitment to quality always remains.
